Organization Description:

Botswana Council for the Disabled (BCD) is an organization that acts as an umbrella body that coordinates all Non Governmental Organizations (NGOS) and Disabled Peoples Organizations (DPOs) that provides services to people with disabilities. It is charged with the responsibility to advise and recommend to government, NGOs and other organizations on policies, programs and plans on all matters affecting the welfare, education, training, rehabilitation, health and employment of People with Disabilities. They provide technical support, financial and managerial advice to member NGOS and DPOs.
