Skilled Volunteer Project Description:

• Fundraising:

  • Reviewing and improving their fundraising strategy for individual, corporate, institutional, and event-based giving.

  • Identifying new revenue streams, such as cause-marketing partnerships, peer-to-peer fundraising, and high-net-worth donor networks.

  • Advising on online campaigns, donor journeys, and optimizing social media for fundraising.

  • Facilitate introductions to potential donors, corporate CSR heads, and philanthropic networks.

  • Mentor their fundraising team in relationship-based fundraising and donor stewardship.

  • Assist in developing impact measurement and reporting tools to communicate their results convincingly.

  • Help design multi-year fundraising campaigns with clear targets, messaging, and donor engagement plans.

• Internal Work:

  • Building their internal capacity through training, process development, and data-driven decision-making for fundraising.

  • Training their team in donor communication, stewardship, and relationship management best practices.

• Donor Relations: Strengthening donor engagement, cultivation, and retention systems.

• Research & Prospecting: Identifying potential donors, corporates, CSR opportunities, and foundations aligned with their mission.

• Proposal & Content Development: Assisting in writing grant proposals, donor presentations, case-for-support documents, and impact stories.

• Event Support: Helping plan, promote, and execute fundraising events (e.g., Sur Sangam) to maximize reach and donations.
