Kenya Projects

Kenya offers breathtaking safaris, the Great Migration in Maasai Mara, and stunning coastlines along the Indian Ocean. It’s a dream for nature lovers and those seeking authentic cultural exchanges with the Maasai and other communities.

In Kenya, roughly 33 percent of the population lives below the national poverty line, especially in arid and semi-arid regions. Although international donors fund around 40 percent of NGO operations, global economic slowdowns have led to a nearly 20 percent drop in those funds since 2022. Rural schools often face teacher–student ratios as high as 1:60, and health workers struggle against high rates of HIV, malaria, and malnutrition. Volunteers in education and healthcare are desperately needed to support underserved communities.
