Organization Description:

Reef Check Malaysia is an NGO focused on coral reef monitoring and island-based educational programs. Today, they monitor over 300 coral reefs annually around the country and are actively involved in marine environment management and conservation efforts. Their mission is to sustainably manage marine ecosystems in Malaysia while bringing together stakeholders to collaborate on marine ecosystems monitoring, management, research and conservation, and advocacy.

Skilled Volunteer Project Description

• Aid in creating a database of international funders that support ocean related work and cover the geographic location of Malaysia

• Support in tapping into the philanthropic foundations and family trusts.

• Creation of a monitoring, learning & evaluation systems that we can use to track our impact across all our projects.
