Organization Description:
Awaken Foundation is an organization that focuses on supporting the holistic development of Ecuadorian communities from an educational, mental and physical health perspective as well as providing entrepreneurship opportunities. They create a caring culture of awareness and hope between the families that join their projects in Ecuador and the people that make their programs possible with donations. They have two main programs. The Mushuk Pakari program’s goal is to provide children with education, psychological and nutritional support as well as helping the families through work with psychologists and social workers in the youth foundation. The community development program focuses on providing educational, medical, and social help to Ecuadorian communities.

Skilled Volunteer Project Description:
Aid developing a clear grant strategy that aligns with our vision and community-led priorities.
Support building internal staff/volunteer capacity to write and manage competitive grant proposals. They currently have an international volunteer in a grant writing position, however they require more support in this area.
Designing a multi-year fundraising plan that diversifies income streams and ensures continuity for our education, health, and cultural programs.
Designing a multi-year social media and/or marketing plan to increase their foundations visibility and ultimately increase their reach and fundraising capacities.
