Fundación para el Avance Social y Comunitario Ecuador (FUNASCE) is an organization working to promote, develop and support initiatives from individuals or groups of people, focused on developing the capacity of individuals, communities and institutions. Their work spans a many different kinds of projects. One is The Preparation for Social Action program, which is an educational program with the goal of training community leaders and promoters. Another is Project ILM, which is intended as a pilot project aimed at encouraging young leaders involved in community development activities to pursue higher education.
